Financial Adviser – Established Wealth Management Firm
Tunbridge Wells | Up to £80,000 DOE + Bonus | Hybrid Working
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Adviser to join a highly regarded, established wealth management business in Tunbridge Wells.
This is a particularly attractive opportunity for an adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships, delivering high-quality financial planning advice and working collaboratively with other professionals.
Unlike many traditional Financial Adviser positions, this role offers access to an established network of existing client relationships, with warm introductions and genuine opportunities to develop your own client portfolio over time.
There is no expectation to bring an existing client bank or spend your days cold prospecting. Instead, you'll have the opportunity to concentrate on what you do best – providing excellent financial advice and developing lasting relationships.
The Role
Working alongside an experienced team, you'll provide holistic financial planning advice to private clients, including high-net-worth individuals and families.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with private clients.
- Receiving warm introductions through established internal relationships.
- Conducting client meetings, financial reviews and identifying wider planning opportunities.
- Providing holistic advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning, Inheritance Tax and estate planning.
- Developing relationships with professional introducers and building your client portfolio over time.
You'll also benefit from dedicated Paraplanning and Administration support, allowing you to focus on client relationships and advice.
About You
We're looking for an experienced, personable Financial Adviser who takes pride in delivering genuinely client-focused advice.
Ideally, you'll have:
- A minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
- Experience providing holistic financial planning advice to private clients.
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, retirement planning and investments.
- Good practical experience of Inheritance Tax and estate planning, including trusts and gifting.
- Confidence advising high-net-worth clients with more complex financial planning requirements.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with other professionals.
Above all, we're looking for someone who is technically capable, approachable and genuinely enjoys looking after clients.
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary up to £80,000, depending on experience.
- Discretionary performance-related bonus.
- Employer pension contribution
- Death in Service benefit.
- Healthcare benefits.
- 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Hybrid working, typically three days in the office and two from home.
- Full Paraplanning and Administration support.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
This is an opportunity to join a financially secure, established wealth management business offering a refreshing approach to financial advice.
You'll have access to warm client opportunities, strong internal support and the freedom to develop meaningful client relationships without the pressure of constantly sourcing new business independently.
For an adviser who enjoys the technical and relationship-building side of financial planning, rather than a heavily sales-driven environment, this could be an excellent long-term career move.
