Are you an ambitious, part-qualified analyst looking to build your career at the forefront of the UK energy transition?
We are partnering with an innovative, dynamic energy business in London to secure a commercial and forward-thinking Part-Qualified Financial Analyst on a permanent basis.
This role sits right at the intersection of finance and commercial strategy, offering direct exposure to senior stakeholders, operational project teams, and senior finance leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Commercial Analysis & FP&A: Partner with operational teams to analyze business performance, gross margins, and project economics across various energy assets.
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Assist in building and updating rolling cash flow forecasts, financial models, and quarterly budget cycles.
- Month-End & Management Reporting: Produce actionable monthly insight decks, variance analysis, and KPI tracking for non-finance business leaders.
- System & Process Enhancement: Help optimize financial reporting tools, dashboarding (Power BI / Excel), and data controls as the business expands.
What We’re Looking For
- Part-Qualified Accountant: Actively studying towards CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (first-time passes preferred; full study support provided).
- Sector & Technical Skills: 1–3 years of financial analysis, management accounting, or FP&A experience. Exposure to the energy, renewables, utilities, or infrastructure sectors is a strong plus.
- Data & Excel Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, complex formulas, data manipulation); Power BI or SQL experience is a major bonus.
- Communication: Ability to distill complex datasets into clear, commercial commentary for non-finance budget holders.
What’s on Offer

- Full study support package (exam fees, tuition, paid study leave).
- Flexible hybrid working model (2–3 days in central London office).
- Clear progression pathway into a Senior Analyst / Finance Manager position.
