Financial Benchmark Analyst / Financial Benchmark Specialist

Role Description The Financial Benchmark Analyst / Financial Benchmark Specialist role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The individual in this role will analyze financial data and performance metrics to develop benchmarks and comparisons across business units, markets, or time periods. Daily responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, preparing reports, building and maintaining Excel-based models, and identifying trends or variances that inform decision-making. The role involves collaborating with finance and management teams to interpret findings, support financial planning activities, and recommend improvements to reporting processes. This position requires consistent documentation of methodologies and clear communication of results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Planning skills to support benchmarking, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accurate analysis and compliance with standards.
• Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for data interpretation, variance analysis, and performance measurement.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and financial modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Experience working in or with organizations in the United Arab Emirates or the broader MENA region is an advantage.
