Position Summary The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing controlling activities and ensuring accurate, complete, timely, and compliant financial reporting for Holding and Holding Service entities. The role manages month-end closing, monthly management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, statutory reporting, and audit coordination for the assigned entities. Working closely with Group Finance, other local finance teams, and external partners, the Financial Controller ensures consistent application of group accounting policies, strengthens internal reporting processes and controls, and supports continuous improvement and efficiency of finance systems and processes within the Holding and Holding Service entity scope. Key Responsibilities Responsible for month-end closing and preparation of monthly management report for Holding and Holding Service entities. Prepare the P&L budget and quarterly forecasts and analyze variances for Holding and Holding Service entities. Prepare monthly cash flow projections for Holding and Holding Service entities. Liaise with auditors, prepare supporting documentation, and ensure accurate and timely audit reporting for Holding and Holding Service entities. Communicate with accounting, tax, and other external consultants supporting Holding and Holding Service entities. Analyse and explain budget variances in monthly reporting packs for Holding and Holding Service entities. Establish internal reporting processes and procedures, and monitor compliance within the Holding and Holding Service entity scope. Support consistent use of group accounts for Holding and Holding Service entities to ensure comparability with group reporting. Review and check results for Holding and Holding Service entities for unusual and exceptional items. Ensure local statutory filings for Holding and Holding Service entities are up to date and reconciled to group reporting numbers. Review group accounting policy compliance for Holding and Holding Service entities. Ensure finance processes and RACI matrices for Holding and Holding Service entities are accurate and kept up to date. Ensure financial systems and processes supporting Holding and Holding Service entities are as efficient as possible. Develop strong working knowledge of D365 to act as a valuable business partner for the Holding and Holding Service entity scope, identifying process improvement opportunities and working with the D365 team to implement them. Qualification & Skills Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or controlling. Technical Skills Sound technical knowledge of finance and accounting processes. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP systems is considered a plus but not mandatory. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Soft Skills High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
