JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for a Financial Performance Manager to oversee our financial operations, improve financial performance, and lead our remote team based in Argentina.

This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our leadership structure, helping us scale efficiently, strengthen internal systems, and provide insights that support strategic growth. If you're experienced in accounting, passionate about financial performance, people, and processes, and love working in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of daily financial operations, ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
• Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping
• Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
• Prepare monthly financial reports with actionable insights for leadership
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial results to identify trends and support smarter business decisions
• Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
• Identify and implement improvements in financial workflows, systems, and team processes
• Track key financial metrics and recommend ways to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall financial performance

What You Bring

• 15+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a strong track record in leadership
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
• Expertise in reconciliations, payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial compliance
• Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and financial performance metrics
• Experience managing remote teams, reviewing work, and working independently
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational habits, and a proactive mindset
• A leadership approach that balances accountability with coaching and team development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn financial data into actionable recommendations
