Role: Financial Planning & Analysis B2B Lead
Reports to: Head of Finance and Sustainability
Location: Global HQ, Stockholm
Role summary
The FP&A B2B Lead is responsible for financial planning, analysis, and insight generation across all B2B (Wholesale and Distributor) activities. This role is critical for driving the commercial performance of the B2B channel, by partnering with stakeholders, leveraging data-driven insights, and owning key business systems.
Key Responsibilities
Insight-Driven Analysis & Decision Making
Proactively perform analysis to generate valuable insights and recommendations.
Translate complex data into clear business narratives, highlighting risks and opportunities.
Guide stakeholders toward informed, data-driven action.
Own and master Power BI, ensuring optimal use for analysis and reporting.
Proactive Performance Monitoring & Business Challenge
Proactively monitor results against targets and analyze variances in depth.
Maintain both detailed and strategic perspectives on historical performance and future plans for the channel.
Go beyond sales: drive strong margin performance and profitability in the B2B channel.
Constructively challenge the business, surfacing issues and opportunities.
Advocate for changes that deliver sustainable improvements in performance.
Proactively participate in month end activities as part of performance monitoring.
Customer-Centricity
Integrate consumer insights and value drivers into all analysis, and as a basis for actionable recommendations.
Drive replenishment recommendations and merchandising feedback from sell-through data analysis.
Business Planning
Facilitate business partners in building accurate budgets, forecasts, and business cases.
Manage the full end-to-end planning process.
Own and master Planacy (planning tool), harnessing the system to drive planning excellence.
As part of the integrated forecast process, support the demand and buying plan for the B2B channel.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Business Partnering
Build strong collaborative relationships with other teams to break down silos and improve business performance.
Serve as a trusted partner to the B2B sales team.
Support decision-making and business development through structured, commercially focused financial guidance.
System Ownership & Super User Responsibilities
Take full ownership of Power BI and Planacy for B2B reporting and planning.
Develop B2B reports in Power BI that provide timely, actionable insights.
Leverage Planacy for accurate and time-efficient forecasting and business case modelling for B2B channels.
Train other employees and encourage system adoption across the business.
Qualifications
Experience within FP&A, Business Controlling, or a similar analytical and commercial role.
Experience working in the sporting goods or fashion industry is a big plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights and business decisions.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience with Power BI is an advantage.
An entrepreneurial mindset with the willingness to take ownership and drive change by pro-actively identifying opportunities and driving results.
Team player who contributes to the team and company culture.
Fluency in English is essential.
Salary band: 55.000-65.000 SEK/month
