Job Details At Endeavor Schools, our mission is to inspire and draw out the best in every child, family, and teammate. Behind the over 100 schools we operate across 14 states is a Finance team that keeps that mission grounded in reality by turning numbers into the clear story of how our schools are doing and where we’re headed next. We’re looking for an FP&A Manager to sit at the center of that work. If you love owning the numbers end to end, translating complex financial data into stories leaders can act on, and having real influence on where a growing company goes next, we’d love to meet you. About the Role The FP&A Manager owns the analysis behind our annual budget, explains performance against it throughout the year, and partners with Operations, Human Resources, and Marketing to sharpen reporting and analytics across the business. You’ll also build the forecasts and models that help us evaluate potential acquisitions and shape strategic decisions. This is an ownership role. You’ll be trusted to take responsibility for the numbers end to end, anticipate what leadership and the board need before they ask, flag issues early rather than after the fact, and operate with a high degree of independence and precision in a fast-moving, multi-entity environment. What You’ll Do Tell the story behind the numbers. Analyze financial and operational results and prepare clear, board-ready materials that explain what’s driving performance. Own budgeting and variance analysis. Support the annual budgeting process, then track and explain the gaps between budget and actuals to leadership throughout the year. Partner across the business. Work side by side with Operations, HR, and Marketing to strengthen their reporting and analytics. Fuel our growth. Build financial forecasts and models that support the evaluation of potential acquisitions. Prepare Board and Executive materials. Help assemble weekly, monthly, and quarterly Board materials that are accurate, clear, and consistent every time. Dig into the ad hoc. Support leadership with financial analysis and modeling as new questions come up. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Four or more years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role or two or more years in investment banking or private equity. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Experience preparing executive-level or client-facing materials. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and juggle competing priorities. Nice to have: Exposure to M&A analysis, due diligence, or acquisition modeling. Experience at a multi-site, multi-entity, or private equity–backed company. Who Thrives Here The people who do their best work on this team tend to share a few traits: Detail-obsessed. You tie out the numbers perfectly, every time, and can explain the reasoning behind every figure. A self-starter. You anticipate what’s needed before being asked and take initiative to solve problems rather than wait for direction. A clear communicator. You turn complex financial data into narratives non-finance colleagues actually understand. High in EQ. You build authentic, trusting relationships across the organization. Strategic and adaptable. You serve the short-term needs of the business while helping build the long-term plan — and you stay calm and resourceful when priorities shift. Travel This role is remote, with regular in-person time at our home office in Miami, FL (at least once a month for a minimum of three days per visit), for hands-on work with Finance and Operations partners, budget and reporting reviews, and cross-functional planning. Some additional travel comes up during the annual budget cycle, at year-end, and in support of acquisition diligence and integration. Why Endeavor Schools When you join Endeavor, you join a company whose work genuinely matters! You’ll have real ownership, visibility with the Senior Leadership Team and our Board, and a front-row seat to a growing business. And you’ll do it alongside people who care about doing excellent work and about each other. Ready to own the numbers behind our mission? We’d love to hear from you. At Endeavor Schools, we strive to inspire and draw out the best in each other by celebrating our differences. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to providing a workplace free of harassment and discrimination. Merit governs all aspects of consideration for employment with Endeavor Schools, competence and qualifications without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law.
