The Role We’re hiring a Financial Planning Associate to support our advisors and help deliver an exceptional client experience. This role is ideal for someone early in their financial services career who enjoys organization, communication, and being a key part of a client-focused team. You’ll work closely with advisors to maintain client data, assist with onboarding, and ensure clients receive timely, accurate support. This role can also be a strong starting point for someone building toward a career as a financial advisor. If you’re pursuing (or considering) your CFP® certification, you’ll get exposure to real planning work and mentorship from senior advisors as you grow your skills and experience. What You’ll Do Assist advisors with daily administrative and client-related tasks Facilitate new client onboarding, including gathering information and preparing required documentation Maintain and update each client’s dashboard and financial scorecard Audit, organize, and process quarterly financial reports Communicate with clients to request, collect, and update personal documents Organize and maintain client files in Box and ensure documentation is complete and accurate Support internal data requests and help enhance workflows as our team grows What Makes You a Great Fit Personality You’re interested in financial services and excited to grow your career in client support or advisory operations, with an interest in eventually becoming a financial advisor You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt easily as needs change You take initiative, solve problems independently, and stay one step ahead of what needs to be done You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks without losing focus You enjoy building relationships, collaborating with your team, and creating a positive experience for clients Skills & Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization and time-management abilities Experience working in a deadline-driven environment Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Familiarity with financial services, client service roles, or professional office settings Comfortable learning new systems and managing data accurately A BA/BS degree in a related field Bonus Points CFP® certification, or actively working toward it Experience or interest in financial planning, financial operations, or client service in a professional services firm Familiarity with Salesforce, eMoney, Black Diamond, or Charles Schwab
