Financial Project Analyst Intern

Position: Financial Project Analyst Intern Location: Bogota, Colombia Duration: 6 Months / 1 year Education Recommendations: Students in their final semesters of Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented intern to join our Financial Project Controller team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing financial reports and ensuring the smooth closure of projects. Your work will directly impact the decision-making process and the overall success of our projects. This is a great opportunity for a finance or accounting graduate to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Prepare and generate financial reports (Balance and P&L) to support decision-making by Financial Project Controllers. Organize and store financial documentation and reports in shared locations for easy access. Manage WBS, sales orders, and service orders to support project closure and deliver monthly status reports to Project Controllers. Collaborate with Logistics and shared services teams to ensure successful project closure and data accuracy. Reconcile order backlog and review figures during month-end closures at the project level. Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Provide support to the team during busy periods and deadlines. Proficiency in English language. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of financial software and systems is an asset. Good communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive and results-driven approach to work.
