Financial Reporting Accountant – Limerick

Atrium EMEA is looking for an accomplished Financial Reporting Consultant to support a Limerick based client in preparing & reviewing financial statements, client engagement and fund administration. 3 days a week onsite and 2 days remote working/ some flexibility.

ESSENTIAL:

o Must have proven experience in the investment management industry acquired through working in the fund administration, asset management or securities operations industry or audit industry.

o Must have previous gathered and submitted financial statements to the Bank of Ireland and understand critical deadlines.

o Financial reporting experience preferred.

o Demonstrated leadership and team-building qualities and ability to motivate a team.

o Strong communication, first class presentation and internal and external client-servicing skills.

o Evidence of successful negotiation skills

o Detailed knowledge of both onshore and offshore funds administration. In particular Irish/UK GAAP and IFRS experience.

o Working knowledge of the Irish regulatory regime as it relates to Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting.

o Knowledge of the leading Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting systems. Experience with vendors preferred (Bloomberg, Reuters etc.).

o Understanding of how Fund Accounting systems link and interface to other systems.
