The Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Research Analyst to conduct in-depth financial and market research and translate complex information into practical investment and business insights. This part-time, fully remote role is suited to an analytical professional with strong financial judgment and attention to detail. You will evaluate companies, industries, market developments, and financial data while supporting research reports and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental and market research on companies, industries, and financial markets.
• Analyze financial statements, business performance, valuation indicators, and market trends.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, risks, and potential catalysts.
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and analytical frameworks.

• Prepare research reports, investment notes, presentations, and executive summaries.
• Translate complex financial information into clear, evidence-based recommendations.
• Collaborate with portfolio, investment, finance, and strategy teams.
• Maintain accurate research records, assumptions, sources, and analytical data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant financial research, investment analysis, equity research, or financial analysis experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation concepts, and financial markets.
• Knowledge of fundamental analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, and market research.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial and market data and preparing professional reports.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to evaluate information objectively and develop evidence-based conclusions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and professional integrity.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
