Role Description The Financial Services Advisor internship is a hybrid role based in Singapore, with a mix of on-site client engagement and work-from-home tasks. Interns support the advisory team in assessing client financial needs, preparing basic financial plans, and assisting with portfolio reviews. Daily activities include conducting market and product research, helping with retirement and investment proposals, and preparing illustrations and documentation for client meetings. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, following up with clients under supervision, and supporting financial literacy initiatives and outreach activities. Interns will have exposure to compliant advisory processes and gain practical experience in wealth management and financial planning.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to support client assessments and recommendations.
  • Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills to interpret financial data and understand markets and products.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Retirement Planning to help structure long-term income and protection strategies.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Investments to assist with portfolio analysis and basic investment proposals.
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial concepts simply.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and a client-centric mindset, with willingness to learn and follow regulatory guidelines.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline; relevant internships or projects are advantageous.
  • Comfort with digital tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software; familiarity with social media or outreach activities is a plus.
