The Financial Systems Analyst serves as the bridge between Finance and Technology, ensuring financial systems, reporting tools, and business processes effectively support decision-making and business growth. This role leads financial system enhancements, reporting automation, NetSuite optimization, and process improvement initiatives while partnering with FP&A, Accounting, Revenue Management, Operations, and IT. What You Will Do

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to optimize financial systems, reporting capabilities, and business processes.
  • Support the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of NetSuite and related financial applications.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, saved searches, and analytics that improve visibility into business performance and support decision-making.
  • Lead system enhancement initiatives, upgrades, testing efforts, and deployment of new functionality to support business growth, acquisition integration, U.S. GAAP compliance, and future SOX readiness.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual financial and operational processes, reducing reliance on spreadsheets and improving efficiency.
  • Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, revenue management, and manufacturing accounting processes through system improvements and reporting solutions.
  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Revenue Management, Operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
  • Maintain system documentation, process maps, training materials, and provide end-user support and training.
  • Monitor data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system controls to ensure reliable and consistent financial information.
  • Participate in ERP, reporting, process improvement, and cross-functional business transformation projects.

Position Details

  • Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role supports the Finance organization through financial systems administration, reporting, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, technical aptitude, business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex business problems, improving processes, and leveraging technology to drive efficiency and scalability.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial systems, FP&A, business analytics, financial reporting, or a related field.
  • Experience working with ERP systems in support of finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or business operations.
  • Experience developing and maintaining financial reports, dashboards, analytics, or business intelligence solutions.
  • Strong understanding of financial, accounting, and business processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Experience with SQL, Power Query, or other data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver results in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience administering or supporting NetSuite ERP.
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting platforms such as Power BI or similar tools.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, system upgrades, integrations, or enhancement projects.
  • Experience with process automation, workflow design, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing accounting processes, including work orders, inventory transactions, assemblies, and costing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, SOX readiness, or acquisition integration activities.
  • CPA designation or related financial certification.
  • Experience creating training materials, process documentation, and end-user guides.
