APPLY NOW Join UK Safety Management as a Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Service Engineer 🚨 UK Safety Management is looking for a reliable, motivated and technically minded Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Service Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll be out on the road visiting a variety of client sites, servicing and inspecting fire alarm and emergency lighting systems , carrying out minor remedial works and fault-finding, and ensuring systems remain safe, compliant and operational. What Will You Do? You’ll visit a variety of commercial and industrial client sites carrying out: Servicing and inspections of fire alarm systems in accordance with BS 5839 . Servicing and inspections of emergency lighting systems in accordance with BS 5266-1 . Minor installation and remedial works, including adding devices and replacing panels. Replacement of emergency lighting fittings safely and correctly. Fault-finding and non-critical repairs. Accurate recording of inspection and testing results. Completion of reports and certification. Communicating faults, issues and recommendations clearly to customers. Your daily schedule, routing and appointments are managed by our dedicated office team , so you can focus on delivering a high standard of work rather than planning your own day. What We're Looking For We’re looking for someone who is: Comfortable driving and travelling between different client sites. Happy working independently across a variety of client sites. Technically minded with a practical approach to problem-solving. Confident carrying out servicing, testing and fault-finding. Reliable, punctual and professional. Confident communicating with customers. Comfortable working across a variety of commercial and industrial environments. Organised and accurate when completing reports and certification. Keen to develop their skills within the fire and electrical safety industry. Previous experience in fire alarms and emergency lighting is desirable, but we’re open to training the right candidate.
