Job Description

Job Summary

The First Vice President, Talent Acquisition is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities for Private Banking and supporting business growth through the timely acquisition of high-calibre talent. The role partners closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to identify, attract and secure suitable candidates, while ensuring a smooth hiring experience and robust governance throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.

Job Responsibilities

* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for Private Banking positions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management and onboarding support.

* Partner closely with Private Banking business leaders, hiring managers and HR Business Partner to understand hiring requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.

* Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for Relationship Managers, Client Advisors, Investment Advisors, Credit Advisors, Market Heads and other Private Banking professionals.

* Conduct candidate assessments and provide market intelligence, talent mapping and hiring recommendations to stakeholders.

* Facilitate salary benchmarking, offer preparation and negotiation to secure top talent in a competitive market.

* Coordinate and monitor pre-employment screening activities, including background verification, reference checks, credit checks, regulatory screening and licensing-related requirements.

* Liaise with internal stakeholders, compliance functions and external screening vendors to ensure timely completion of background checks and onboarding requirements.

* Ensure all recruitment activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements and governance standards.

* Maintain accurate recruitment records, prepare hiring reports and provide regular updates on recruitment progress and market developments.

* Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives to enhance the Bank's visibility within the Private Banking talent market.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recruitment efficiency, candidate experience and overall hiring effectiveness.



Job Qualifications

* Degree holder in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.

* Minimum 8-12 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience, preferably within Private Banking, Wealth Management or Financial Services.

* Demonstrated experience recruiting Private Banking front-office professionals and understanding the wealth management talent landscape.

* Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, market mapping and candidate assessment methodologies.

* Familiarity with background screening requirements, regulatory checks and onboarding processes within the banking industry will be an advantage.

* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility with senior business leaders.

* Excellent communication, organization and project management skills.

* Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple recruitment mandates in a fast-paced environment.
