Fiscal Services Tech Requisition ID req37642 Working Title Fiscal Services Tech Position Grade 09 Position Summary Position Summary: The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is in search of an organized, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Fiscal Services Tech. This position reports directly to the Accountant III and will be the main point of contact for the Department Finance Team. The successful candidate will thrive in a detail-oriented role which requires the performance of repetitive tasks accurately and consistently. Experience is preferred but not required. The chosen applicant is expected to demonstrate a broad knowledge of UNM procurement rules and procedures by the end of the probationary period. Specific responsibilities: Processing purchasing and reimbursement requests Entering data into and ensuring the validity of department financial databases Tracking balances in various indices as funds are expended Monitoring and answering e-mails in a shared e-mail inbox Categorizing and reconciling receipts to purchases and packing slips Reconciling credit card purchases in Chrome River Infrequent travel to off-campus vendors to complete purchases Other duties as assigned See the Position Description for additional information. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
