Role Description

This is a part-time or full time remote role for a Food Safety Consultant. The consultant will be responsible for conducting food safety audits, implementing food safety management systems, and ensuring clients' compliance with regulations. Responsibilities will include providing training, creating tailored food safety programs, conducting quality assurance assessments, and offering professional guidance to safeguard food industry operations. The position involves working closely with clients across diverse sectors to maintain industry standards and achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Food Science and a solid understanding of the Food Industry
• Experience in Food Safety practices and implementing HACCP programs
• Skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Auditing
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Familiarity with relevant legal and industry requirements
• Excellent communication skills for delivering training and advising clients
• A relevant degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is highly preferred
• Prior experience in consulting or client-facing roles is an advantage
• Applicants must be based in Dublin or adjacent county and must have own car
