The Role This new role is to support the Head of Safety for the UK & Ireland in delivering a high‑performing, legally compliant, and continuous‑improvement‑focused food safety, health & safety, quality, and environmental programme across the business. Key Responsibilities Manage microbiological testing programmes and review results to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Support product development by maintaining specifications, labels, recipes, and compliance documentation. Assist with food safety, quality, and health & safety investigations, audits, and corrective action plans. Lead third-party audit administration and KPI reporting, driving continuous improvement across the business. Support supplier approval and performance review processes. Deliver food safety and compliance training, coaching, and communications to operational teams. Monitor legislative and industry developments to identify emerging risks and ensure ongoing compliance. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, retail partners, local authorities, and franchisees. Provide support to the Head of Safety and act as deputy when required. About You: Experience in food safety, quality assurance, or compliance within food manufacturing, retail, or hospitality Strong knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills Confident managing multiple projects and driving continuous improvement. Passionate about creating a positive food safety culture and supporting operational excellence.
