Role Description The Food Server role at The Vintage Lisbon is a full-time hybrid position based in Lisbon, with some tasks that can be completed from home, such as menu familiarization or online service training. On-site, the Food Server is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a timely and professional manner. The role involves coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring orders are accurate, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. The Food Server also handles guest inquiries, manages payments, and supports a positive guest experience. Administrative or training-related activities may occasionally be performed remotely, as agreed with management.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage offerings and Food Service procedures to ensure accurate and efficient table service.
• Basic Cooking awareness to understand menu items, ingredients, and dietary considerations when assisting guests.
• Ability to work full-time in a hybrid schedule, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous experience in restaurants, cafés, or hospitality environments is preferred.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and good command of English or another international language is an advantage.
