Role Description The Foreign Exchange Trader will be responsible for executing trades in major and minor currency pairs using the firm’s capital, following predefined strategies and risk parameters. Daily activities include monitoring global economic news and market movements, performing technical and fundamental analysis, and identifying trading opportunities aligned with the firm’s risk management framework. The trader will maintain detailed trade logs, review performance metrics, and refine strategies based on data-driven insights. This role involves close collaboration with the firm’s risk management and portfolio leadership teams to ensure disciplined execution and continuous improvement. This is a remote contract role, offering flexibility while requiring consistent communication, timely reporting, and adherence to firm policies and compliance standards.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Trading and Currency market knowledge, including experience trading FX pairs in live market conditions.
• Candidates should possess skills in Technical Analysis and Trading Strategies to identify, execute, and manage trades within defined risk limits.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret market data, economic indicators, and performance metrics for decision-making.
• Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and discipline in following risk management rules.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with reliable internet access and professional trading setup.
• Prior experience in proprietary trading, FX trading, or related financial markets is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with trading platforms (e.g., MT4/MT5, cTrader, or similar) and basic understanding of market microstructure.
• Relevant education in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field is an advantage but not strictly required if skills and track record are demonstrated.
