Job Title: SAP Mentor — The Academy, Cohort 05
Employment Type: Short-Term Engagement (4 months), starting October 5

About the Role
The Academy is the kopiuslab program that prepares people with no prior professional IT experience to join real client projects at Kopius. Cohort 05 runs three technical tracks, and SAP Consulting is one of them. We are looking for a mentor to lead it.
Your mission: take the trainees with no professional SAP background and, in four months, leave them ready to contribute real value to a project team from day one. You design the path, walk it with them, and own the outcome — from building the curriculum to certifying, at the end, that each trainee is ready and for what kind of role.
Key Responsibilities
Design the program
- Build the full four-month curriculum: stage objectives, content, sequencing, and criteria for progression
- Define the hands-on cases and exercises the trainees will work on, along with the practice environment (sandbox / IDES)
- Prepare or curate study material and working guides
Run it
- Lead live training and working sessions, mostly online, with asynchronous follow-up during the week
- Review deliverables, give concrete feedback, and unblock trainees when they get stuck
- Teach the craft alongside the tool: how to read a business process, how to hold a conversation with a client, how to document a functional definition
Measure and report
- Run periodic assessments against clear ready / not ready criteria
- Report progress to The Academy team, flagging early when someone is falling behind
- Deliver a readiness report per trainee at closing, recommending the type of project and role each one is ready for
Basic Qualifications
- Consultative mindset: you can explain the business reasoning behind a configuration, not only the steps
- Patience with the learning curve, and the ability to create a space where asking questions is easy
- Genuine interest in seeing other people grow — that is the deliverable here
- Self-directed, able to design and run a program without a playbook handed to you
- Available for occasional on-site sessions at our Retiro office in CABA
Technical Requirements
- 8+ years of SAP experience, including at least two complete end-to-end implementations
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA
- Deep command of one or more core modules (FI/CO, MM, or SD) and a working understanding of cross-module integration
- Demonstrable experience developing junior consultants: onboarding, development plans, sustained mentoring over time — beyond having had juniors on the team
- Proven ability to design a training program from scratch: structure it, sequence it, and assess it. Concrete examples of programs you have built are a strong plus
- Upper-intermediate English or above — our clients are U.S.-based and part of the training is delivered in English
Nice to Have
- Current SAP certifications
- Experience with SAP Activate or another implementation methodology
- Previous involvement in academies, bootcamps, or structured training programs
- Interest in bringing AI tools into the consultant's workflow — Cohort 05 includes a cross-cutting AI Engineering stream
Ways of Working
The schedule is flexible. Most sessions run online, and you are welcome at our Retiro office whenever it makes sense — kickoff, key milestones, or simply working alongside the trainees. We will agree on the rhythm together at the start of the program
