About the Role We are looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to work closely with business and technology teams to identify opportunities, rapidly prototype AI solutions, and deliver production-ready applications that drive measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges and identify AI opportunities Rapidly prototype and develop AI-powered solutions for real-world business use cases Build and deploy applications using Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG, APIs, and automation Translate business requirements into practical and scalable technical solutions Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping, coding, testing, and deployment Work directly with users to demonstrate solutions, gather feedback, and continuously improve them Drive solutions from concept → prototype → validation → production Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities for their practical application Collaborate with engineering, cloud, security, and DevOps teams to productionize solutions Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with engineering best practices Create reusable AI components, patterns, and accelerators for future projects Act as a technical evangelist and trusted partner for business teams Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field 2-5 years of experience in software engineering, application development, automation, or a related technical role Strong programming experience in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM-based applications Experience with REST APIs, databases, Git, and cloud platforms Strong understanding of software development and engineering principles Experience with AI-assisted development/coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience with RAG, AI Agents, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and tool-calling patterns Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Azure OpenAI, or similar LLM platforms Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices Experience working in customer-facing, consulting, solutions engineering, or forward-deployed roles Strong interest in emerging AI technologies and rapid prototyping Why Gruve At Gruve, we foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
