Our team values professionals who thoughtfully integrate AI into their daily work, delivering exceptional results while relying on the human judgment and creativity that drive real innovation.

Role Overview

Cvent is building an AI-forward enterprise and is looking for an AI Transformation Leader to turn that ambition into practical, measurable outcomes.

In this role, you’ll work closely with business teams and technology partners to understand how work gets done, identify opportunities to apply AI and automation, and guide solutions from idea through adoption. You’ll partner across one or more functions—including Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance—helping teams improve workflows while ensuring solutions are secure, governed, and aligned with enterprise priorities.

This is a business-facing role with a strong technology and change-management dimension. You’ll build trust with stakeholders, connect business needs to technical possibilities, and help teams adopt solutions responsibly. Success means measurable business impact and lasting capability—not simply a tool or pilot.

In This Role, You Will:

What you’ll do

  • Build trusted relationships with business leaders and teams; learn their goals, processes, pain points, and measures of success.
  • Map end-to-end workflows and identify opportunities for AI, automation, and process redesign.
  • Translate ambiguous business challenges into clear problem statements, prioritized use cases, requirements, and outcome-based plans.
  • Shape and deliver AI transformation initiatives from discovery and solution design through piloting, rollout, adoption, and measurement.
  • Work with technology, data, analytics, security, and governance partners to assess solutions and support responsible implementation.
  • Help teams apply AI in ways that complement human judgment and expertise, with appropriate review and control points.
  • Establish success measures—such as time saved, improved service, stronger forecast accuracy, increased retention, or revenue and pipeline impact—and track results.
  • Create repeatable playbooks, operating practices, and enablement materials so improvements can scale beyond an individual project.
  • Gather and channel new ideas through established governance and prioritization processes, avoiding fragmented or duplicative solutions.
  • Communicate recommendations and outcomes clearly to business stakeholders, technical partners, and senior leaders.

Functional areas you may support

The role may focus on one or more of the following areas, based on business priorities and your experience:

  • Sales: Prospecting, pipeline management, forecasting, deal support, quoting, sales operations, enablement, and revenue operations.
  • Customer Success and Client Services: Onboarding, implementation, adoption, customer health, support, renewals, retention, and expansion.
  • Marketing: Demand generation, account-based marketing, campaign operations, content workflows, digital channels, and attribution.
  • Finance: Planning and forecasting, accounting, reporting, procurement, order-to-cash, collections, and financial operations.

You do not need to be a deep subject-matter expert in every function. We’re looking for strong transformation skills, a willingness to learn new business domains, and the ability to connect people, processes, and technology.

Here's What You Need:

What you’ll bring

  • Significant experience leading business transformation, enterprise technology delivery, AI implementation, intelligent automation, consulting, or a related discipline.
  • A track record of taking initiatives from discovery through implementation and adoption, with measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to understand complex processes and translate business needs into structured requirements and practical solution plans.
  • Experience partnering across business and technical teams, including data, engineering, IT, security, and operations.
  • Familiarity with AI, generative AI, workflow automation, analytics, or enterprise platforms—and the judgment to select approaches based on the problem rather than a single tool.
  • Strong change-management and communication skills, including the ability to earn trust, facilitate working sessions, and explain technical concepts in business terms.
  • Sound judgment around governance, data protection, security, risk, and human oversight in enterprise environments.
  • A builder’s mindset: you create reusable approaches and leave teams better equipped to sustain and extend the work.

Nice to have

  • Experience in one or more of Sales, Customer Success, Client Services, Marketing, or Finance.
  • Experience in a complex or regulated enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM, customer success, marketing automation, finance, analytics, or enterprise workflow platforms.
  • Experience defining AI or automation metrics, building business cases, or communicating results to executive audiences.
  • Experience developing playbooks, centers of excellence, enablement programs, or operating models.

Who you are

  • Outcome-oriented: You measure success by meaningful business results, not activity or technology alone.
  • Curious and consultative: You listen, learn the context, and build trust before recommending change.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: You create clarity and momentum when the problem or path forward is not yet fully defined.
  • Pragmatic about AI: You understand where AI can help, where people should remain in control, and why responsible adoption matters.
  • Collaborative: You bring together business and technical partners to move from ideas to implementation.
  • Focused on lasting impact: You help teams build the capability to sustain improvements over time.
