Role Description The Founder role at Sense Labs is a part-time hybrid position based in Singapore, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining the vision and strategy for wellbeing-focused products, prioritizing initiatives, and making key decisions on features and roadmaps. The Founder will work with collaborators and partners, coordinate design and development efforts, and guide experiments to validate product concepts. The role also involves engaging with users, gathering feedback, and iterating on offerings to improve impact and scalability. In addition, the Founder will oversee essential operational tasks such as basic budgeting, resource planning, and establishing processes that support sustainable growth.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to set product vision and strategy, with a strong interest in wellbeing, happiness, and productivity.
  • Experience in product development or entrepreneurship, including planning, launching, and iterating on new ideas or services.
  • Comfort working with cross-functional partners (e.g., design, engineering, marketing) and coordinating small, agile teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to test assumptions, run experiments, and incorporate user feedback into decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including clear written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Basic business and operational skills, such as budgeting, resource allocation, and simple performance tracking.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively in a part-time schedule, and thrive in a hybrid work arrangement in Singapore.
  • Prior experience in wellness, behavioral science, health technology, or related fields is beneficial but not required.
