Article on our $20M Series A, led by Norrsken with the founders of Alan and Datadog
Context
Vocca builds AI voice agents that answer patient calls, book and reschedule appointments, and free up time for medical teams. Following our Series A, we are a team of 50+ across Paris and New York, and 250 healthcare organizations use Vocca.
Eliott (CEO) and Hugo (CTO) have more topics to open than time to work on them: the US launch, new verticals, new countries, a finance function to structure. Maxime, our Chief of Staff, turns their priorities into projects, and his own scope is growing fast.
We are opening a Founder Associate internship to give them leverage. You report to Maxime and work on the founders' priorities.
Your mission
Take on the topics Eliott and Hugo cannot dig into themselves and bring each one to a result they can use: a recommendation they can decide on, a tool the team works with, or an experiment with measured results.
Expected outcomes
After 1 month:
You know the product, our customers and how each team works, in France and in the US
You have delivered a first project from start to finish, scoped with Maxime
After 3 months:
The US sales team works from a target account list you built, with the enablement material that goes with it
You have presented a first market study to the founders (a new vertical or a new country), with a go or no-go recommendation.
The Chief of Staff team uses a finance report or model you built
After 6 months:
You run two or three recurring topics on your own
You have run at least one growth experiment from hypothesis to measured result, with a recommendation to scale or stop
At least one of your recommendations has become a company decision
What you will work on
You cannot list everything a Founder Associate does. These are the three areas you start with.
Market exploration
Study new verticals and new countries: market size, competitors, what it would take to enter
Run product and competitive benchmarks
Bring structured recommendations back to the founders
Growth and US sales enablement
Test new growth strategies and run the experiments yourself
Build target account and call lists for the US team
Produce the enablement material the sales team needs
Finance structuring
Help Maxime build the reports and models used to steer the company
Run the analyses the founders need to make a decision
Public affairs
Map the public bodies, health authorities and professional organizations that matter for Vocca, in France and in the US
Prepare the founders' meetings with them: briefs, position notes, follow-ups
Follow the regulation and public debate on AI in healthcare and flag what affects us
Founder branding
Make Eliott and Hugo known and listened to in two communities: the healthcare professionals who buy Vocca, and the talent we want to hire
Run their content with them: LinkedIn posts, talks, events
Track what works with each audience and adjust
Beyond this list
Depending on what you are good at and what you want to learn, you will pick up other topics: recruiting, internal operations, brand and communication.
This role is for you if
Requirements:
You are in your final year at a top-tier engineering or business school and looking for a 6-month end-of-studies internship starting in January 2027
You have already built something: you ran a student society, launched a project, or worked in a demanding environment such as a startup, a bank or a consulting firm
You are fluent in French and English
What we will assess:
You understand fast, and you can turn a vague question into a structured answer with a recommendation
You are very autonomous and organized. You manage up: you say what you need, raise blockers early and follow up without being asked
You are entrepreneurial. You know the startup world, you love tech, and you want to start a company one day
You are AI literate and understand how an AI product works
You break silos: you move easily between teams in Paris and New York
You keep asking how you could do better and have more impact
This role is NOT for you if
You want a fixed scope. Your topics will change with the company's priorities
You only want to work on strategy. A good part of the job is execution: building lists, running experiments, keeping a report up to date
You need close supervision to move forward
After the internship
We built this internship as a way into Vocca. If it goes well, we want you to stay full time, in a role we define together based on what you did best.

Why should you join Vocca?
An entrepreneurial adventure, with a supportive, high-energy, execution-focused team
A product already live, with delighted customers in a fast-growing market (healthcare automation, voice AI)
A true scaling phase, with everything still to build
Real responsibilities from day one
