Founder Operations Manager

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone. Our client is a fast-growing eCommerce business operating multiple consumer brands, including an established Amazon-first home décor brand and a rapidly expanding medical products brand. With ambitious growth plans across Amazon and other online marketplaces, they are seeking a Founder Operations Manager to become the founder's trusted operational partner and help transform ideas into execution. Role Overview The Founder Operations Manager will be responsible for driving operational execution across the organization by managing cross-functional projects, improving business processes, coordinating teams, and ensuring key initiatives move forward efficiently. Working directly with the founder, the Founder Operations Manager will translate priorities into actionable plans, build scalable systems, and create accountability across the business. Location Fully Remote | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST Key Responsibilities Project & Execution Management Translate founder priorities and ideas into actionable project plans. Develop project timelines with clear owners, deadlines, and deliverables. Track progress across multiple initiatives simultaneously. Ensure projects advance without requiring constant follow-up from the founder. Identify bottlenecks early and proactively resolve or escalate issues. Team Coordination & Accountability Serve as the central point of coordination across departments. Follow up with team members to ensure commitments are completed on time. Lead recurring project and accountability meetings. Provide leadership with organized project updates and progress reports. Foster a culture of ownership, communication, and execution. Process Improvement & Systems Build, document, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain and optimize project management systems such as Monday.com , ClickUp, or similar platforms. Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and business efficiency. Document key business processes to improve scalability and reduce reliance on tribal knowledge. Founder Support Help prioritize business initiatives and organize daily operational activities. Capture new ideas and convert them into structured execution plans. Reduce the founder's day-to-day involvement in project follow-up through proactive ownership. Act as a trusted operational partner who keeps priorities moving forward. Qualifications Experience 2–5 years of experience in Operations, Project Management, Business Operations, Executive Support, or a similar execution-focused role. Previous experience working within an Amazon eCommerce business is required. Experience using Amazon Seller Central in an operational environment. Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities. Experience supporting founders, entrepreneurs, or executive leadership is highly preferred. Skills Strong project management and organizational abilities. Excellent documentation and SOP development skills. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive accountability. Strong prioritization, follow-through, and problem-solving abilities. Experience using Monday.com , ClickUp, Asana, Amazon Seller Central, ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI-powered productivity tools. What Success Looks Like Cross-functional projects consistently move forward without requiring constant oversight from the founder. Teams remain aligned, accountable, and consistently meet project deadlines. Operational systems become increasingly organized, documented, and scalable. Communication across departments improves, reducing bottlenecks and execution delays. The founder spends significantly more time focused on strategy and business growth rather than operational follow-up. Business processes become more efficient through improved systems and documentation.
