Founding Engineer

AgentMail is building the identity and communication infrastructure for AI agents, starting with email. We are looking for a Founding Engineer with backend and infra focus to architect systems for agents as the end users. Responsibilities: Design APIs that are intuitive for both humans and LLMs Architect high-throughput, low-latency systems Write and review clean, idiomatic code Maintain comprehensive documentation Qualifications: Has prior work experience (internships count) as an engineer at a tech company Has shipped software used in production by real users (work or personal projects) Compensation: $150k - $250k base salary 0.5% - 2.0% equity Breakfast, lunch, and dinner (Doordash) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Equinox membership
