Founding Engineer

We’re looking for a founding engineer to help build the platform behind high-quality human voice data for the next generation of speech and audio models. You’ll work across the stack on systems for audio recording, data quality, human review, internal operations, and delivery to leading AI and voice AI labs. You’ll be building products used by thousands of people every day, with high ownership across product, infrastructure, and data quality. What You’ll Work On Build and improve applications for collecting and reviewing speech data Design reliable systems for audio quality assurance Work with TypeScript, React/Next.js, Postgres, and cloud storage Create internal tools that make complex data operations easier to run and audit Improve reliability, observability, and quality across the data pipeline Ship to production quickly What We’re Looking For Strong full-stack engineering ability High ownership and comfort working on ambiguous problems Care for product details, data correctness, and operational reliability Ability to ship quickly without losing sight of long-term system quality Strong Postgres or backend systems experience Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and production systems Nice To Haves Experience with audio systems, speech data, or machine learning data workflows Experience building internal tools, data labeling systems, QA systems, or marketplace-style workflows Interest in voice AI, human data, and the infrastructure behind model training Benefits Competitive salary and equity package Flexible PTO policy Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid lunch and dinner in the office High-ownership role at the earliest stage of a company already working with large AI labs
