By supporting travel entrepreneurs and the customers they serve, TripSuite enables more people to travel better. Our first product makes it easier for travel professionals to get paid. Where You Meet TripSuite As the founding frontend developer, you’ll be responsible for building a new application and owning frontend development. This is your chance to build something from the ground up that’s pivotal to the future of our company. We’re an early-stage startup, so we’re looking for someone who can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. You will report directly to the CTO. You Will: Design the frontend architecture of a high-performance, secure, and user-focused web application Create and maintain the application's build system Ensure that the application is responsive and accessible Work closely with our CEO, CTO, and other engineers to build features and improvements Understand our clients’ journey and build software that enables best-in-class experiences Build an innovative product to revolutionize the travel industry What We’re Looking For: Extensive experience with React, Next.js, Typescript Experience architecting medium-sized public-facing web apps, where performance and reliability are critical Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility, and testing (including the ability to write unit tests) Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently Excellent communication and collaboration skills At least 2 years of experience in technical leadership on similar projects At least 4 years of experience in web development Benefits and Perks: Competitive salary and significant equity in a high growth start-up Unlimited paid time off, including two company shut down weeks so you’re guaranteed time to rest and recharge Medical, dental and vision coverage 401K access Fully remote Company trips (tell us what’s on your bucket list, and we’ll plan a trip there!)
