ZeroDec is a deep-tech initiative developing accelerated physics engines for superconducting qubit pre-validation, quantum security, and multi-scale material discovery. We replace heavy, slow numerical simulation cycles (FEM, lattice QCD, raw first-principles) with physics-guided, effective low-energy solvers that yield actionable engineering guardrails in seconds.

The Partnership Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional Physicist to join as a Founding Partner / Scientific Co-Founder. This is an equity-based founding role designed for a researcher or computational physicist who wants to step beyond traditional academia or slow industrial R&D and directly drive the core solver architecture of a commercial platform.

What You Will Build & Own

• Lead the theoretical validation and mathematical rigor of our solver suites (ZeroDec Qubit Solver, Clemen Physics, and IGM Universal).
• Formulate reduced Hamiltonian models, noise-channel decomposition, and sensitivity matrices for superconducting circuits.
• Validate effective low-energy models against empirical benchmarks (chiral, baryonic, spin dynamics, and crystalline networks).
• Co-author whitepapers, technical specifications, and benchmark reports for foundries, research institutions, and investors.
• Shape the scientific roadmap and technical vision of the company from day one.

Candidate Profile

• Background: Ph.D. or active senior researcher in Theoretical Physics, Quantum Information, Condensed Matter, or Computational Physics.
• Core Competencies: Strong mastery of Hamiltonian dynamics, superconducting qubit physics, quantum circuit modeling, or effective field theory closures.
• Execution Mindset: Hands-on computational fluency (Python/C++, numerical solvers, scientific computing) and ability to translate complex physics into fast algorithmic approximations.
• Builder Attitude: Pragmatic, independent, and motivated by shipping working tools rather than solely theoretical proofs.

Work Model & Terms

• Location: 100% remote (work from anywhere in the world).
• Compensation: Significant Co-Founder Equity stake during the product co-development and validation phase, with transition to salary upon institutional funding/revenue milestones.
• Commitment: Flexible / Part-time transition to full-time co-founder.
