Founding Product Designer

Who We Are SKUsafe is a VC-backed enterprise SaaS startup powering end-to-end compliance for the food industry. From product formulation to supplier management and quality control, SKUsafe serves the brands, manufacturers, and restaurants that consumers trust every day to back up their commitment to safety, quality, and innovation. Both consumers and regulators are demanding increasingly onerous standards for food - SKUsafe is the modern compliance operating system that helps food businesses rise to the challenge. Who You Are We're looking for a founding-level product designer who can operate autonomously, talk directly to customers, and turn real-world problems into clear product experiences. You’re comfortable with owning research, shaping product direction, and iterating quickly on designs. Beyond UI you’ll be a partner to engineering and leadership to help define what we build, not just how it looks. Qualifications 4+ years of experience as a product designer working on software products Experienced in design systems and Figma Strong end-to-end ownership: research, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs Strong preference for SaaS & VC-backed startup experience Comfortable acting in a hybrid designer / product-thinking role Compensation Compensation will vary based on experience of candidate; approximate range is $150K - $180K Seed stage equity
