Founding Product Designer

About the Role

As the first dedicated designer at an early-stage hardtech hiring platform, you'll shape the product experience across recruiters, engineers, and candidates. Reporting to a co-founder, you'll establish a cohesive design language and help make real-world technical assessment more effective and intuitive.

What You'll Do

• Learn the needs of all three user groups and identify where interface friction affects the assessment experience.

• Establish and maintain a consistent design language across the platform.

• Use product analytics and session recordings to identify opportunities and guide design improvements.

• Partner with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to create connected experiences across assessment flows and hiring dashboards.

• Own the website redesign, including information architecture, visual design, and front-end implementation.

What We're Looking For

• Two to four years of product design experience, including work at an early-stage startup.

• Strong design judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to move quickly in a fast-changing environment.

• Experience with tools and technologies such as Figma, TypeScript, PostHog, and AI-assisted design tools.

• Interest in designing for recruiting, technical assessments, or specialized engineering workflows.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $140,000 to $185,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
