Company Description NeuralSight AI is the world’s first agentic AI infrastructure purpose-built for child safety, safeguarding, and behavioral insights in schools. Founded in Abu Dhabi, UAE, the company transforms existing CCTV networks into real-time, privacy-preserving visual intelligence layers without additional camera hardware or cloud video streaming. Using edge processing and anonymized computer vision, NeuralSight AI converts camera feeds into skeletal vectors, storing no raw video or facial data and maintaining compliance with global privacy regulations such as UAE PDPL, GDPR, FERPA, and COPPA. Its platform enables trauma and baseline monitoring, safeguarding and abuse detection, bullying and aggression mapping, and neurodivergence screening. By turning passive visual data into early intervention signals, NeuralSight AI equips school leaders, child protection teams, parents, and clinicians with actionable insights to protect student wellbeing.

Role Description As the Founding Safeguarding Lead / Co-Founder, you will shape NeuralSight AI’s safeguarding vision, policies, and ethical standards across all school deployments. This part-time, remote role involves designing and maintaining child protection frameworks, translating safeguarding best practices into product requirements, and collaborating closely with AI, engineering, and product teams to ensure responsible system behavior. You will review and refine risk models, escalation protocols, and intervention workflows, and create guidance materials for school administrators, safeguarding officers, and clinical partners. On a day-to-day basis, you will engage with pilot schools and advisory boards, gather feedback on safeguarding impact, and help define measurable outcomes for student safety and wellbeing. You will also contribute to thought leadership in safety-centric AI, represent the company in relevant forums, and play a key role in fundraising, partnerships, and strategic decision-making as a co-founder.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in child safeguarding, child protection, or school-based mental health, with experience designing or implementing policies and protocols in educational or clinical settings.
  • Familiarity with privacy, data protection, and regulatory frameworks related to children (e.g., GDPR, FERPA, COPPA, or equivalent), and ability to translate them into practical governance guidelines.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., educators, clinicians, social workers, technologists) and aligning diverse stakeholders around shared safeguarding outcomes.
  • Comfort engaging with AI-driven or data-driven products, including the ability to contribute to ethical guidelines, risk assessments, and practical safeguards for algorithmic systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create clear training materials, playbooks, and documentation for non-technical school staff and parents.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote, startup environment, prioritize across multiple initiatives, and make decisions under uncertainty.
  • Previous leadership or founding experience
