You will work closely with senior leadership and wider business stakeholders, taking ownership of sophisticated financial models while helping to improve and automate the organisation’s financial planning, forecasting and reporting capabilities. The position also offers an excellent hybrid working arrangement, requiring just one day per week in the Dublin City Centre office.
Who should apply?
This role will suit a qualified accountant with strong FP&A and financial modelling experience who enjoys working in a commercial, analytical and fast-moving environment.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- 5+ years’ experience within FP&A, financial modelling, treasury or a similar analytical finance role
- Strong cashflow forecasting and advanced financial modelling experience with expert-level Excel capability
- Experience with Power BI, SQL or similar analytical tools
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial insights
- Experience within Financial Services, Insurance, Banking or another highly regulated industry would be beneficial
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance, this is an individual contributor role that will play a key part in strengthening the organisation’s financial planning, modelling and analytical capabilities. Responsibilities will include:
- Own, maintain and continuously enhance the Group’s integrated cashflow forecasting model, including budgets, reforecasts and strategic planning.
- Support liquidity forecasting, debt management, financing activities and analysis relating to the capital structure of the business.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial and scenario models to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning while analysing financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Analyse cashflow variances and provide meaningful commentary and insights to senior leadership, management teams and the Board.
- Utilise Power BI, SQL and other analytical tools to improve reporting, insight generation and forecasting accuracy.
- Drive improvements and automation across financial planning, modelling, data management and reporting processes.
- Work closely with Finance, wider business functions and external stakeholders including banks, lenders and advisors.
