By partnering with pediatric dental, orthodontic, and oral surgery practices across the country, we empower our teams with the technology, resources, and support they need to make a meaningful impact every day.

We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative FP&A Manager to join our Finance team! Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role will partner closely with operational and clinical leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and overall business performance.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into the numbers, identifying meaningful trends, and turning complex financial data into clear insights that help leaders make confident business decisions.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play an important role in supporting the financial health and continued growth of our organization. From developing forecasts and evaluating investments to creating leadership-ready reporting, your work will directly influence key operational and strategic decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with operational, clinical, and accounting leaders.

  • Build and maintain financial models and scenario analyses to support staffing, capacity planning, new services, capital investments, and other operational decisions.

  • Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts, identify the root causes of variances, and provide clear recommendations to leadership.

  • Partner across accounting, operations, clinical leadership, and other departments to gather assumptions and ensure financial plans align with organizational goals.

  • Prepare dashboards, executive summaries, presentations, and financial reporting for monthly and quarterly business reviews.

  • Support month-end close activities and help ensure the accuracy of practice and operational financial data.

  • Develop and maintain KPI reporting focused on productivity, utilization, costs, revenue, and practice performance.

  • Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives, operational investments, acquisitions, and service expansion.

  • Identify financial risks and opportunities while helping leaders understand their potential impact on the business.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; an MBA or master’s degree is a plus.

  • At least five years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related financial role.

  • Experience supporting healthcare operations, physician or dental practices, or other multi-site, multi-state organizations is highly preferred.

  • Experience in a private equity-backed or rapidly growing organization is a plus.

  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and performance-tracking skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Planful or another financial planning system is a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial information clearly to senior leadership.

What Makes You Successful:

  • You’re naturally curious and enjoy understanding the story behind the numbers.

  • You can translate detailed financial information into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • You’re comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced environment where priorities may evolve.

  • You build trusted relationships and enjoy partnering with leaders across different areas of the business.

  • You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities.

  • You take ownership of your work and look for opportunities to improve processes and reporting.

  • You bring a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to challenges.
