Freelance Illustrator

Arcaessentials is a fast-growing, U.S.-based ecommerce group that owns and operates multiple direct-to-consumer brands.

As part of our creative operations, we are looking for talented, detail-oriented, and reliable Freelance Illustrators to create and adapt personalized digital illustrations based on customer references.

This is a fully remote, project-based freelance collaboration with flexible working hours and the opportunity for long-term collaboration.

Our illustration workflow is designed to be fast and efficient. Most assignments involve working with pre-prepared, AI-assisted artwork and making specific customizations rather than creating a complete illustration from scratch.

Typical tasks include:

• Adding, removing, or replacing flowers and decorative elements.
• Adding or changing names and personalized details.
• Adjusting and refining existing illustrations.
• Making revisions based on project requirements or internal feedback.

Most illustrations can typically be completed in approximately 10 minutes, depending on the modifications required.

All artwork is completed using Adobe Illustrator and must follow our established visual and quality standards.

• Create, adapt, and refine personalized digital illustrations.
• Follow project references, creative guidelines, and technical specifications.
• Review artwork before submission to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Complete reasonable revisions when required.
• Manage assigned projects independently and meet agreed deadlines.
• Communicate proactively with the team regarding questions, feedback, or potential delays.

• USD 2 per completed and approved illustration.
• Our illustrators complete between 40 and 60 illustrations per day.
• Flexible working hours, provided that all assigned illustrations are completed and delivered within a maximum of 24 hours from assignment.
• Fully remote collaboration.

• 2–3+ years of experience in graphic design or digital illustration.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work from photographic references.
• Ability to reproduce a defined visual style consistently.
• Efficient, organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
• Able to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to implement feedback.
• Updated portfolio with relevant illustration work.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume freelance environment.
