Role Description The Freelance Investor Sourcing Associate is a full-time remote role responsible for identifying, researching, and engaging potential institutional and qualified investors for Max Agility’s capital-raising mandates.

In this role, the associate will map investor landscapes, compile and maintain detailed investor databases, and qualify prospects based on mandate fit, asset class interest, and geographic focus. Day-to-day tasks include outreach via email, calls, and virtual meetings, scheduling and coordinating introductions between investors and internal deal teams, and documenting all interactions in CRM tools. The associate will also support the preparation of investor summaries and briefings, track pipeline progress, and provide regular reporting on sourcing activities and market feedback. Collaboration with senior team members to refine targeting strategies and improve sourcing effectiveness is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong investment research and analysis capabilities, with the ability to understand private equity, debt, and alternative investment strategies and match them to investor preferences.
• Proficiency in investor sourcing, lead generation, and CRM or database management, including maintaining accurate records and tracking pipeline metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to conduct professional outreach, prepare concise investor summaries, and participate in virtual meetings.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple mandates, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
• Comfort working with digital tools and platforms (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM systems, online research tools, professional networking sites).
• Prior experience in capital raising, investor relations, investment banking, asset management, or related financial services is highly beneficial.
• Understanding of institutional investor segments such as pension funds, financial institutions, family offices, HNWIs, and asset managers is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in the investment or financial services industry.

Remuneration:

A percentage of every deal closed, along with tiered quarterly bonuses for exceptional performance.

The ideal individual would earn a success fee, bonus for closing deal rounds within time frame and additional bonus for over subscribtion.
