This is a remote position.
Location: Remote, South Africa-based
Start: Immediate
Duration: Initial engagement of 1 to 3 months, covering setup, testing and rollout
Rate (choose one structure)
- Monthly retainer: R4,350-R6,960 per month for 20-30 hours
- Per-launch project fee: R5,220-R8,700 per campaign launch
We are open to higher quotes from senior candidates with a proven compliance track record in financial education.
Payment terms
- 50% deposit upfront on engagement, 50% on campaign launch
- Invoices paid within 7 days of the invoice date
About the role
We're looking for an experienced paid media buyer to run Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok lead-generation campaigns for our upcoming live trading masterclass. We start with one main masterclass campaign, followed by ongoing promotional variations. The initial testing ad budget is R10,000-R25,000 per month, funded by us. We own the verified Meta and TikTok ad accounts.
Scope of work (all included in your fee)
- Build, launch and manage lead-gen campaigns targeting South African audiences.
- Landing page builds in Systeme.io, WordPress or a similar builder, or direct-to-WhatsApp/email flows.
- Pixel and conversion tracking. Base setup will be completed within 7 days of onboarding, and you will optimise events from there.
- Compliance advice on ad copy, targeting and conversion layout.
- Cost-per-lead monitoring and optimisation. Targets will be set together after initial testing.
- Weekly summary reports by email to our administrative team.

Ad positioning
Ads focus on educational masterclass registration, market commentary and trading fundamentals. Core message: "Learn trading analysis fundamentals and market risk management in our upcoming live masterclass."
Financial education is a restricted ad category. All campaigns must follow Meta and TikTok policies, with no income guarantees and no promises of profit.
If an ad or account is flagged or restricted
- You will be paid for all setup and hours completed up to that point.
- If the restriction is through no fault of the media buyer, the retainer stays active for up to 30 days while compliance appeals or backup campaign setups are processed.
- After that, continued retainer payments depend on submitting appeals or adjusting the campaign setup to restore active running status.
Requirements
What you bring
- Proven Meta and TikTok lead-gen results, with case studies showing spend, leads and CPL
- Experience running ads for financial education or trading content, and navigating restricted-category policies
- Experience with landing pages and WhatsApp lead flows
- Based in South Africa
