- Role & Team: Global Senior Product Owner within Personal Health (Omnichannel Digital Experience), driving enterprise-wide application initiatives.
- Core Mission: Leading a critical software transformation to replace legacy consent and identity platforms before their 2027 end-of-life cutoff.
- Immediate Priority: Delivering the mid-October Consent Management go-live, followed by leading the transition to a new IAM partner.
- Key Responsibilities: Securing cross-team capacity beyond standard backlog management, balancing strategic alignment with hands-on technical detail, and driving cross-functional change.
- Location: in Amsterdam with a hybrid schedule (2–3 days on-site for 32 hours).
Key Deliverables & Responsibilities
- Product Backlog Ownership & Prioritization: Build, structure, refine and prioritize the product backlog for Consent and Identity Management, based on agreed business objectives, customer needs, privacy requirements, dependencies and implementation considerations.
- Product Requirements & User Stories: Translate business, marketing, legal/privacy and user requirements into epics, features, user stories, functional requirements and clear acceptance criteria.
- Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain the functional roadmap for consent capture, preference management and CIAM capabilities, providing recommendations on priorities, sequencing and dependencies.
- Agile Product Delivery: Fulfil the Product Owner role within the agreed delivery framework, including backlog refinement, sprint preparation, clarification of requirements and acceptance of delivered functionality against agreed criteria.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate alignment between Marketing, Privacy/Legal, Analytics, IT/Engineering and external technology partners to establish clear requirements, priorities and product decisions.
- Solution & Vendor Alignment: Review proposed solutions from IT and external technology partners against agreed functional requirements, architecture principles, privacy requirements and acceptance criteria, and identify gaps requiring resolution.
- Testing & Product Acceptance: Define functional test and acceptance scenarios and coordinate UAT, privacy/compliance validation and integration verification from a product perspective.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Identify product, technical, regulatory and vendor dependencies or risks and recommend appropriate mitigation and prioritization measures.
- Rollout & Knowledge Transfer: Prepare functional documentation, product decisions, implementation guidance and handover materials to enable successful rollout and transfer of knowledge to internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience acting as a Product Owner or Product Management professional for complex digital products or platforms.
- Strong experience with product backlog management, prioritization, roadmap development and Agile product delivery.
- Proven ability to translate customer, business and regulatory needs into epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary delivery teams and external technology partners.
- Relevant expertise in Consent Management, Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM), preference management and GDPR/privacy requirements.
- Ability to balance customer experience, business value, privacy/compliance requirements and technical feasibility when recommending product priorities.
- Strong stakeholder facilitation skills, with the ability to create alignment across business, privacy/legal and technology stakeholders.
- Relevant Product Owner/Product Management certification such as PSPO, CSPO or equivalent practical experience is an advantage.
