Freelance Report Writer / Policy Analyst (English), Human Rights & Rule of Law, Potential Long-Term Collaboration

Pilot Translations (Pilot Tercüme Ltd. Şti., Ankara) is building a small roster of freelance report writers and policy analysts for a potential long-term collaboration with a major international organisation. The work is assignment-based and ordered as needed, with no guaranteed volume. Assignments are remote and paid at a daily rate.

What you'd do

• Prepare meeting, workshop, conference and mission reports, including minutes and records of discussions, from notes, recordings and materials provided
• Draft executive summaries, policy briefs and briefing notes
• Synthesise legal, policy and technical information from multiple sources
• Build comparative tables and analytical matrices
• Design questionnaires and analyse survey and participant-feedback results
• Adapt documents for different audiences, from policymakers to practitioners and civil society

What we're looking for

• A completed Master's degree or higher is mandatory, in political or social sciences, law, international relations, humanities or a related field. Applications without one will not be considered.
• At least five years of experience preparing reports and analytical documents from information and materials provided by others
• A track record of authored work for intergovernmental or international organisations (e.g. CoE, EU, UN, OSCE)
• Subject knowledge in human rights, rule of law, justice, gender equality or migration
• Native or C2-level English, with a clear, precise institutional writing style
• Individual freelancers only. No agencies. Students are not eligible.
