About You We are looking for a creative and dynamic social-first freelance Social Content Creator to support the development of engaging content for our clients across a wide range of digital platforms. You instinctively understand how people consume content online. You think in hooks, trends and storytelling rather than formats, and know how to turn ideas into compelling short-form content that captures attention and drives engagement. Whether you're editing a reel, creating a TikTok, producing a carousel or developing motion graphics, you understand what makes audiences stop scrolling. You combine strong creative instincts with excellent editing skills. Comfortable working from rough briefs, you move quickly from concept to execution while bringing fresh ideas, platform-native thinking and an eye for emerging trends. You actively follow creators, brands and evolving content styles, adapting your work to suit different audiences and platforms. You are collaborative, resourceful and naturally curious about new technologies. You embrace AI tools as part of your creative workflow and are always looking for smarter, faster ways to produce high-quality content without compromising creativity. What You Do As a freelance Social Content Creator, you develop engaging social-first content that helps brands connect with audiences across multiple digital platforms. You develop creative social-first content from briefs, transforming ideas into engaging stories that resonate with audiences across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and XiaoHongShu. You create and edit short-form videos including reels, TikTok videos, event recaps, product content and branded storytelling. You transform static ideas into dynamic motion content through effective pacing, transitions, subtitles, motion graphics, typography, colour grading and sound design. You identify opportunities to incorporate emerging trends, viral editing styles and platform-native formats to maximise engagement while ensuring content remains aligned with brand objectives. You adapt creative assets across different platforms, aspect ratios and formats while maintaining consistency in quality and storytelling. You leverage AI tools to support ideation, content creation, editing and production workflows, improving efficiency and creative output. You collaborate closely with strategists, copywriters, designers and account teams to develop integrated social campaigns. You manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality content within agreed timelines. What You Offer Demonstrated experience creating engaging social-first content, supported by a portfolio showcasing short-form videos, motion graphics or branded digital campaigns. Strong understanding of storytelling, audience behaviour and platform-native content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and XiaoHongShu. Advanced video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, animation and typography. Advanced working knowledge of CapCut for short-form social content creation. Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with Canva is advantageous. Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools such as Runway, Kling, Midjourney and ChatGPT to enhance production workflows. Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, visual rhythm, sound design and colour grading. Ability to work independently from rough creative briefs while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
