Lightly AG is an ETH and HSG spin-off pioneering in machine learning and computer vision. Backed by Y Combinator and top-tier investors, our technology is used by global leaders in autonomous driving, medical imaging, and visual inspection. With a small but sharp team in Zurich, we're looking for experienced Weather & Meteorology Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to help us evaluate AI-generated weather forecasting and event analysis. Expected project scope of approximately 15 hours/week. We are launching a project focused on evaluating AI-generated weather and climate analysis, and we are looking for experienced Weather & Meteorology Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to participate. Project expected to begin early July. Background in meteorology, atmospheric science, climate science, or environmental science Ability to verify weather events (storms, heatwaves, cold snaps, precipitation patterns) against historical records Familiarity with US city-level weather data — temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind, pressure, cloud cover Understanding of how weather events impact downstream systems (energy demand, agriculture, transportation) Strong analytical and written communication skills in English Work directly with a YC-backed team on cutting-edge AI evaluation projects Competitive compensation tailored to experience and scope of work Send us your CV .
