Role Description The Freelance Writer role at BA Fashion VIA is a flexible and remote position. The writer will create articles, interviews, and profiles that showcase student designers, collections, and events, ensuring content aligns with the platform’s vision and tone. Tasks could include collaborating with designers, and delivering a engaging, well-structured copy on deadline. The role also involves editing and refining content, adapting pieces for digital platforms and social media, and contributing ideas for new editorial formats that elevate student work and audience engagement.

We are looking for someone who wants to develop skills like:

• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging narratives tailored to fashion and creative audiences.
• Researching topics, conducting interviews, and transforming insights into compelling editorial content.
• Efficiency in editing and proofreading to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistent tone.
• Interest in fashion, design, and emerging talent.
• Collaborating with students and faculty, and attending events in Herning.
• Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Relevant education or experience in journalism, communications, media, or a related field is beneficial.
• Get familiar with digital publishing tools and social media platforms is an advantage.
