French Conversation Partner (Remote)

TalkAbroad is looking for French speakers to have friendly video conversations with university students in the United States and Canada who are learning French.

This is not a teaching position. You'll simply help students build confidence through authentic conversations while sharing your language and culture.

What you'll do

• Participate in one-on-one video conversations with French learners.
• Create a friendly and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable speaking.
• Share your culture and everyday experiences.
• Encourage students as they develop their conversational French.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is a fluent French speaker
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoys connecting with people from different cultures.
• Has a reliable internet connection and a quiet space for video calls.
• Is comfortable using online video conferencing platforms.
• Is dependable and professional.
