Role Description

The French Tutor will provide remote, one-on-one and group tutoring to learners seeking to improve their French language skills for professional, academic, or personal purposes. This full-time role involves planning and delivering engaging online lessons, assessing learner progress, and adjusting teaching methods to accommodate different proficiency levels and learning styles. The tutor will create and curate learning materials, provide regular feedback, and support learners in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining clear communication with learners, tracking attendance and performance, and collaborating with the Learnguage team to refine curriculum and instructional approaches.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong French Teaching and Tutoring skills, with the ability to explain grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation clearly.
• Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build rapport, motivate learners, and provide constructive feedback.
• Candidates should possess Online Tutoring experience, including comfort with virtual classrooms, video conferencing tools, and digital learning resources.
• Fluency in French (near-native or native level) and strong command of English for instruction and support.
• Relevant teaching certification, education degree, or formal training in language instruction is preferred.
• Experience teaching adult learners or young professionals and familiarity with goal-oriented, outcomes-based tutoring.
• Reliable internet connection, suitable remote working environment, and strong time management and organizational skills.
