Frontend Developer — Manila, Philippines (Remote)
Pilon is hiring a frontend developer in Manila.
We're a Singapore-based fintech. We're also a lender — that's the part that matters.
Before Pilon was a platform, we were writing supplier financing off our own book in Singapore. Which means we learned credit risk, collections and compliance the expensive way: one deal at a time, with our own money on the line. We also learned the thing nobody tells you — the business doesn't scale if every new corporate mandate needs three more people to service it.
So we built the software to fix that. Six years on, it's the platform tier-1 banks in the Philippines and Vietnam use to run their supplier financing programmes. Suppliers get paid early, buyers get more time to pay, and the bank scales a mandate it would otherwise have walked away from.
Every screen in the product was specced by someone who has personally chased a late payment.
Backed by Wavemaker Partners and Kaya Founders. Multi-award-winning, if that sort of thing moves you.
What you'll build
The interfaces banks, corporates and their suppliers use every day. Invoice tracking, transaction automation, approval workflows. Real users, real money moving, real consequences when a button doesn't work.
What we're looking for
The setup
Remote, with one in-person meet-up in Manila each month. Full-time. 8 Years of experience and above.
