This role is designed for candidates who are passionate about building scalable, high-performance, and user-centric interfaces across web and future mobile platforms. You will work closely with product, backend, and design teams to deliver seamless digital experiences. Role Overview As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable frontend applications using modern frameworks like ReactJS. You will contribute to building a strong component architecture, optimize performance, and help scale applications to support growing user bases. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable frontend applications using ReactJS Translate UI/UX designs into clean, reusable, and maintainable code Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs (Node.js & Express) Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design Optimize application performance for speed and scalability Implement state management solutions (Redux / Context API) Build reusable components and maintain structured architecture Implement proper error handling and API failure recovery Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts and data flow Write unit, integration, and E2E test cases (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) Follow Git-based version control and CI/CD best practices Participate in code reviews and improve engineering standards Ensure security best practices (XSS protection, input validation, token handling) Contribute to frontend architecture for long-term scalability Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern JavaScript (ES6+) Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design Experience integrating REST APIs and working with async programming Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux or similar) Familiarity with reusable UI component systems Understanding of authentication flows (JWT, OAuth basics) Experience with Git and collaborative workflows Exposure to unit and integration testing Basic understanding of backend technologies (Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL is a plus) Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment Perks & Benefits Flexible Working Hours Hybrid Work Support Counselling Support Opportunity to contribute to scalable frontend architecture About Job Nexus India Job Nexus India connects emerging technology talent with high-growth startups and product-focused companies.
