Schedule / Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (U.S. Business Hours Overlap Required)

Compensation: $2200 - $4000 (depending on location and experience)

About The Company

We support enterprise organizations with scalable digital platforms, content ecosystems, and technology solutions designed to streamline how top global brands manage and deliver digital experiences.

We are not a standard corporate "ticket-processing" environment. We operate as a dynamic software company where every engineer is expected to bring creativity, problem-solving skills, and active ownership to the table. We don't just hire people to write code; we hire talented engineers to solve complex problems using modern technology.

About The Role

We're hiring a Frontend Developer, Client Solutions to build and own the digital experience for one of our enterprise client engagements. You'll be embedded on a single account: a multi-location restaurant franchise that needs a franchise website platform, a shared content ecosystem across locations, and a clear content schema that can scale as new franchisees come online.

The work spans architecture and interface. You'll help define how the franchise web ecosystem is structured (national/brand vs. location presence, shared vs. local content), build and refine the content models and schema that power it, and own the frontend presentation and design quality of the sites. We don't have a design agency on this account, so you're the design decision-maker as much as the engineer.

You'll work directly with the client, communicating status, flagging blockers, and coordinating with internal platform and content teams when integration or publishing questions come up. You'll report to the VP of Customer Success, but day to day this is a self-directed role. We need someone who can manage their own workload, keep stakeholders updated without being asked, and flag risks early.

What You'll Do

  • Architect & Build Ecosystems: Architect and build the franchise website experience, including how brand, shared, and location-level content fit together.
  • Content Schema & Modeling: Design and implement the content schema and models that support a scalable franchise ecosystem (shared content, local overrides, and location pages).
  • Frontend Ownership: Build and own the frontend presentation layer for the franchise sites, with strong attention to performance, accessibility, and brand consistency.
  • UI/UX & Visual Design Ownership: Design the UI/UX yourself. There is no design team support on this account, so strong visual and interaction design judgment is required.
  • Content Syndication Patterns: Establish patterns for shared content syndication and reuse across locations without fragmenting the brand experience.
  • Direct Client Communication: Communicate directly with the client on progress, timelines, architecture decisions, and issues.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Coordinate with internal platform, content, and engineering partners when schema, publishing, or integration questions come up.
  • Self-Directed Management: Manage your own sprint planning and priorities, escalating to your manager when needed.
  • Schedule Alignment: Work U.S. business hours to overlap directly with the client and internal team.

What We're Looking For | Requirements

  • Frontend Stack: Strong hands-on experience building frontend applications using a modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack.
  • Information Architecture: Experience designing content models / information architecture, not only implementing screens from a finished spec.
  • Component Architectures: Solid understanding of component-driven UI, templating or headless CMS frontends, and content that is shared across multiple sites or locations.
  • UI/UX Eye: A genuine eye for UI/UX. You should be comfortable making design calls without a designer in the room.
  • Structured Content & Workflow Knowledge: Practical knowledge of structured content, schema design, and how editorial workflows affect what gets built.
  • Client-Facing Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication. You'll be in direct client conversations.
  • Self-Management & Initiative: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and self-manage priorities without close oversight.
  • Time Alignment: Comfortable working U.S. business hours regardless of your geographic location.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with franchise, multi-location retail/restaurant, or brand + local website programs.
  • Experience working on a client-facing or agency-style account where you're the sole technical point of contact.
  • Familiarity with headless or hybrid CMS platforms, content syndication, and multi-site / multi-instance architectures.
  • Experience balancing brand governance with local franchisee flexibility in a shared digital ecosystem.
