Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer – React Location: Remote – Latin America Type of Contract: Full-Time | Remote Salary Range: Market Rates Language Requirements: Professional English (written and verbal) Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Engineer with strong React experience to join their growing engineering team. You will play a key role in building high-quality frontend applications while serving as a technical liaison between offshore and onshore engineering teams. Your work will directly impact development quality, team alignment, and the successful delivery of scalable software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable frontend applications using React and related technologies. Serve as a technical bridge between onshore and offshore engineering teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements, technical decisions, priorities, and project expectations. Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective frontend solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to offshore developers, helping resolve complex implementation challenges and maintain consistent engineering standards. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical planning, and development best practices. Troubleshoot and optimize frontend applications for performance, scalability, usability, and reliability. Proactively identify technical risks, communicate blockers, and help coordinate solutions across distributed teams. Must-Have Qualifications 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with strong expertise in React . proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications. Experience working with distributed, offshore, or cross-functional engineering teams. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively translate technical concepts between engineering teams and business stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to operate at a senior level, take ownership of technical decisions, and provide guidance to other developers. Experience with Git, code reviews, testing practices, and modern frontend development workflows.
