Frontend Engineer (Angular/TypeScript)

GetCovered is a rapidly growing PropTech startup on a mission to modernize and simplify the insurance experience for renters and operators alike. We’re building scalable, modern web applications that solve real-world problems, and we’re expanding our India-based engineering team to help accelerate that mission. We are looking for experienced Frontend Engineers with strong Angular and TypeScript skills to join our team. You’ll play a key role in building dynamic, scalable, and performant user interfaces for our core applications. What You’ll Do Develop and maintain responsive frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript Collaborate with backend engineers to consume REST and GraphQL APIs Implement UI components with attention to detail, performance, and reusability Contribute to technical decisions, architecture, and best practices Optimize applications for speed and scalability Work closely with Product and Design teams to deliver intuitive user experiences Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed What We’re Looking For 4+ years of experience in frontend development Strong proficiency with Angular (v15+ preferred) and TypeScript Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and GraphQL Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) Experience with component libraries; Kendo UI experience is a big plus Familiarity with Docker and Nginx is preferred Experience in an agile development environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Nice to Have Experience working with UX/UI teams or designers Prior experience in PropTech, FinTech, or SaaS environments Familiarity with CI/CD processes
